If the "branches" of the Fire Cross are bent to the right, the sign is associated with the rising sun, day and life, masculine beginnings, and development.

But if the "branches" of the Fire Cross are bent to the left (a less favourable version) it is associated with the setting sun, night and death, the autumn and winter sun, the feminine beginning.
